RACE PROCEDURES/RULES
Section I – Race Line-up
LMSC/SLM/LLM/Legends:
- All starting positions will be determined by time trials.
- If time trials are cancelled for any reason starting positions will be determined by fast lap from transponders in the last practice session for that division.
- If practice and time trails are cancelled for any reason, starting positions will be determined by track points.
Bando/UCAR/MM/SS/Charger
- All starting positions will be determined by fast lap on transponder from practice or time trails if the race director determines that the race schedule permits time for the trials.
- If practice is cancelled for any reason starting positions will be determined by track points.
- All competitors must have an approved operating transponder.
Section II – Start and Restarts
All Divisions:
- All start of races will be double file and started by the flagman.
- All restarts will be double file.
- All restarts will be done by cone lane choice.
- All restarts will be started by the flagman in the restart zone marked on the outside retaining wall.
- All races will end under green and will follow the green, white, checkered format. There will be three attempts at a GWC then the race will be official. If the leader takes the white flag and the caution is waved the race will be official.
Section III - Tires
- LMSC/ Top 20 in track points will be required to purchase four (4) new tires to start the event.
- LLM/ All competitors are required to buy 4 new tires to compete in three event weekends. (75 lap event or a Twin 35 lap event).
- Event 1: Every competitor must buy 4 new tires.
- Event 2: Every competitor must use their impounded tires from event 1. If you were not at event 1 you must purchase scuff tires from the impound.
- Event 3: Every competitor must use their impounded tires from event 2. If you were not at event 2 you can use your impounded tires from event 1 or purchase scuff tires from impound.
- SLM/ All competitors are required to purchase 4 new tires to start the event.
- All other classes can purchase new tires at the competitor’s discretion; however, if SNMP officials deem the tire is unsafe the competitor will be required to change that tire to a tire that is approved by SNMP officials.
Section IV – Fuel
- ALL COMPETITORS ARE REQUIRED TO USE TRACK FUEL.
- All LMSC competitors are required to purchase a minimum of 10 gallons of race fuel on race day.
- All SLM competitors are required to purchase a minimum of 12 gallons of race fuel on race day.
- All LLM competitors are required to purchase 5 gallons of race fuel on race day.
- Sunoco 110 and pump gas will be available at the track for purchase.
Section V – Cautions
- LMSC/ All 150 lap events will count the caution laps as a completed circuit. All Twin 75 lap events will NOT count the caution laps as a completed circuit.
- SLM/ All 150 lap events will NOT count caution laps as a completed circuit.
- LLM/ All 75 lap events will count caution laps as a completed circuit. All Twin 35 lap events will NOT count caution laps as a completed circuit.
- SS/MM/Charger/UCAR/Legends/Bando/ All events will NOT count caution laps as a completed circuit.
Section VI – Technical Inspection
- All competitors are to make their race cars available for technical inspection before practice and qualifying, after practice and qualifying and at the conclusion of the race event.
- If officials require you to bring your race car to the tech shed for inspection and you do not comply with any part of the inspection you will be subject to disqualification and/or additional penalties.
